Drug addiction has now become a serious problem of our society even whole word. especially in the town areas. many young men and women are filling victims to this. It is a curse which ruins them completely. The dishonest traders carry on their business on narcotics and drugs underground which are smuggled into the country. This curse has become widespread all over the world. There is an international gang behind it. They active everywhere. Many young men and women are tempted to take this drug. once they taste it, they arr caught in it forever. They cannot come out of this death trap. This kills them slowly but surely. But we cannot allow this to go on unchecked. we must fight against its dangerous effect to the people and make them aware of
this deadly enemy of social life. The mass media can play an effective role in this respect. seminars, discussions and debate should be held in school,college and universities. The government alone cannot solve this problem single handed .people must co-operate with it. otherwise there will not be any desired result.
